throw back to school when i said acab after watching a clip of 3 large adult male cops pin down ONE skinny teenage boy for having weed,, and some bitch spurts the bs of “we need cops who are you gonna call if you get robbed or in a car crash or raped” ++

bruh im a queer woman cops dont give a fuck about me being sexually assaulted i know this personally,, i would call a family member or loved one,, i dont want a bunch of wife beaters when i need emotional support,, in a car crash id call an ambulance for me/the other person++

and write down their license plate/name/etc for my insurance company/lawyer,, if i was robbed i would also called my insurance to see if im covered, my landlord/home owner etc ++

the cops arent even on the list of people who i would call,, i dont want to talk about it at all but ive experienced assuly and ive been in a car accident, cops were involved both times and in both situations all they achieved was increasing my levels of distress ++

i know that i am extremely privileged since i will never have to be the target of systematic racism but this just goes to show white people that cops are also capable of treating us like shit i dont want to hear your “im not black so it doesnt apply to me” bullshit ++

because it does it applies to the whole society, cops have killed MILLIONS of people solely for their race as well as for their sexuality/gender expression, religion, neuro divergent people also experience high levels of police brutality because cops felt “threatened” by ++

common symptoms of ASD, ADHD, Tourettes etc like stimming and tics,,
a very large proportion of disabled people are killed by cops a year because the system is also ableist

so to everyone saying it doesnt apply to them bc theyre white:

ALL cops uphold a system of oppression, including racism, homo+transphobia, ableism and classism

THIS is the society that we ALL live in, we are ALL affected by this even if its not directly targeted towards you

guarantee that you know at least one person out of the following:+

poc, lgbt, female, autistic, living in poverty.

how would you feel if you saw them beaten to death in front of you?

ALL of us live in THIS society so we ALL have to speak up against it

just because you haven’t experienced it, doesnt mean you dont know someone who has
