TAUGHT PROVOKING HISTORY.....

Nigeria in the past was forced by the Europeans, to participate in slave trade. The British had participated in it until human trafficking was abolished in 1807. After 77 years, The British took special interest in Nigeria because of its resources.
Following the Berlin conference where Africa was divided by European powers, on November the 15th 1884, Britain chose to colonize Nigeria, and it was officially established as a British Colony in 1884.
Just a year after the British colonialists arrived Nigeria, in 1885, the Roman Catholic missions established the first hospital. SACRED HEART HOSPITAL in Abeokuta. Followed by other colonial hospitals.
Nigeria's health care system & hospitals continued to blossom with best hands as nurses & doctors. To the extent of which other nations were trooping into Nigeria for the best medical care, Just like they got in Britain. Even SAUDI ROYAL FAMILY, was using UCH Ibadan in the 50's.
After Britain handed a sound, robust and one of the best health care systems/hospitals in the world to Nigeria, following her independence in 1960, It's a shame to say that, after 135 years since the first hospital was established in Nigeria, this is what we have today.

Nigeria and Nigerians, are now running to same countries that use to patronize her, for medical tourism in the past, for the same medical care. It's not that we lack man power, good doctors or nurses. But our health facilities, are all in comatose.

NA WHO DO US THIS THING 🤔🤔
Because of the need of the colonial government to connect with other colonial administrations in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Gambia and England, Telecommunication was established in Nigeria, in 1886.
Britain brought Telecommunication into Nigeria, Just 2 years after they arrived. And just 5 years after Britain started telecommunications in 1881.

Despite the British handing over a sound telecommunication system to Nigeria, during independence in 1960,
After 134 years since telecommunication was established in Nigeria, we can't boast of good telecoms networks. We can't boast of smooth networks. We are still experiencing drop calls or no network. Nigeria's Telecommunication is dominated and ran mostly as foreign owned.

SHAME 🤔
Twelve years after the British colonialists established their presence in Nigeria, they successfully generated power in 1896. They grew and sustained electricity in Nigeria until they handed over a functional and robust power sector to Nigeria, following her independence in 1960.
It's a shame to say this, that after 124 years since power was first generated in Nigeria in 1896, this is what we have to show. Despite billions and trillions of dollars already pumped into the sector.

IS NIGERIA A BLESSING OR A CURSE. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Even before the British took over Nigeria officially, through colonization, it has already established the first school in LAGOS, in 1843. Known as NURSERY OF INFANT CHURCH, it was established in BADAGRY LAGOS. But during colonization, more schools were built.
It was like a competition between the missionaries, and the Colonial government. The missionaries were using schools and hospitals to convert Nigerians into their faith. At a point, the missionaries had more schools and hospitals than the colonial government.
Nigeria's education system was robust, with top notch teachers and administrators. The standard was so high to the extent that, if you have passed out from any Nigerian school, you don't need writing series of exams, if you so wish to further your education in Britain.
It's a shame to say this. That after 177 years since the first school was established in Nigeria in 1843, Nigerians are now taking their children abroad, for even primary school education. Or they pay very high fees, for private school education up to university level.
Despite the billions of dollars, that is being pumped into education sector annually, this is what we have in Nigeria after 177 years. It is sad to say that, Government schools are solely left for the poorest of the poor, to send their children & wards to.

A WICKED NATION 🤔🤔

In 1906 the first motorable road in Nigeria was constructed. It linked Oyo to Ibadan. The colonialist built and expanded Nigeria's road networks from the south to the North across board. Nigeria had good, long-lasting motorable roads.
But after handing over good road networks to Nigeria after her independence in 1960, it's a shame to say that, after 114 years, since the first motorable road was constructed in Nigeria, in 1906. This is what we have now.

MY HEART IS REALLY BROKEN, I WEEP FOR NIGERIA MY COUNTRY
