people actively don't want change i stg. police officers should be resigning and deconstructing their institution across the world rn, they should of along time ago. but people are obsessed with living in terms of maintenance instead of truly progressive or transformative change

been thinking this a lot ever since the tories won their biggest majority since thatcher in Dec. it seems people are generally more invested in enacting a return to something, even if its racist, violent, classiest etc, then imagining anything different
