my (asian) dad was a part of law enforcement for only a few years. he eventually landed himself on the swat team and worked the gang unit. he worked alongside a Hispanic man and a black man. the diversity made them seem more trustable and they abused that power. (1)
They would steal money from those who did not speak English. They were easily bribed. They were aggressive. As far as any physical violence, I’m unaware of what they did. They all saved lives. They all were respected in the community. Yet there was so much going on bts . (2)
My father told me he never wanted me to date any guy who wanted to join law enforcement. In addition to the sick activities going on in uniform, they were just as sick at home. Cheating, abuse, lying, manipulating, sneaking are all apart of the lifestyle of most officers. (3)
Unfortunately, my father continued to choose corruption and is currently serving time in federal prison. This isn’t a joke. I don’t give two shits who you know that’s a PO. You probably don’t know them like you think you do. Power does real damage. (4)
Some of my mutuals need to re-evaluate who you’re trusting. You sound like a victim of emotional abuse to me. There is no other side of the story. There is no “not all cops”. What happened was a murder plain and simple. The men in uniform are standing by and watching. (5)
Power and corruption can reach ANY person. POs have power. What you’re seeing is corruption. Most are not standing up for what’s right and are kissing the ass of whoever gives them that power. (6)
I hope there are people out there enjoying the throw blankets they got from target.
