1/n Hoyshala Architecture. 
Amruteshvara temple is located in the village of Amruthapur . The temple was built in 1196 C.E. by Amrutheshwara Dandanayaka under Hoysala King Veera Ballala II.

2/n The temple has an original outer wall with unique equally spaced circular carvings. The temple has 1 vimana (shrine tower) & therefore is a Ekakuta design,& has a closed mandapa that connects the sanctum to the large open mantapa.
3/n The shrine is square in shape has the original superstructure (shikhara) which is adorned with sculptures of Kirtimukhas (demon faces) and Lord Shiva, miniature decorative towers (aedicule).

4/n The rows of shining lathe turned pillars that support the ceiling of the mantapa is a Hoysala-Chalukya decorative idiom. The mantapa has many deeply domed inner ceiling structures adorned with floral designs and when in floral there was a depicted with Natarajan image.
5/n The outer wall of the open mantapa sculptures with depictions from the Hindu epics.The Ramayana is sculpted on the south side wall on 70 panels, with the story. Please open the image to see the details.
6/n Twenty five panels depict the life of the Hindu god Krishna and the remaining forty five panels depict scenes from the epic Mahabharata.

9/n A connecting door leads a visitor to navaranga. The door is guarded by two dvarpalas on either side. The navaranga is divided into 9 bays of equal size. In the navaranga are placed images of Ganesha, Kartikeya, Brahma, Naga couple, Venugopala, Vishnu and Shiva.
10/10 We cant Considered Taj as the Wonders of Bharatvarsha see the architecture of South Ancient Temple of Bharatvarsha. Taj is nothing more than a temple converted mosque and the graveyard.
