A stunningly beautiful LGBTQ+ story told in alternating chapters of before and after IT happens (I won& #39;t say what to avoid spoilers) to slowly reveal the answers to the mystery. 2/9

A thriller mixed with a heart warming romance, and as much as I loved the romance element of the story, it was the mystery aspect that kept me needing to read on. 3/9

I admit there were small parts where I *thought* I had figured out what / who could be involved (and I was a little bit right!) but there were so many twists & turns that I was nowhere near close to predicting the whole story. 4/9

I& #39;d also like to give a special mention about the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book that informs readers about the discussion and depiction of grief, trauma, drug use, cancer, and physical and sexual abuse. Why don& #39;t more books have this?! 5/9

I for one was very thankful for the warning because it prepared me mentally for what was to come. So big well done to both @Usborne & @WHusseyAuthor - I& #39;d love for this to become common across all YA fiction. 6/9

I really recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery with twists and turns. I genuinely didn& #39;t want to put this book down and I read it in a day... around working from home and looking after my 4 year old! 7/9

I love both of the boys and cried over a few scenes, particularly towards the end. And that goes to show how brilliant the writing is - this book really sucks you in and you can& #39;t help but feel the emotions that are being explored on the page. 8/9

I audibly gasped at points, like I was actually there! Honestly, every part of this book was pure perfection.
