And this is just a tiny fraction of the over 5,000 Hongkongers that were granted permits to stay in Taiwan last year, most of which did so through investment, owning property, pursuing education, employment, etc.

That's 0.4% of the total if it's 5,000 total. 0.4%?!
Or even 200 out of 5,000 would be disappointing (4%). Anyway, these numbers are consistent with my understanding of the situation and these are the groups in Taiwan that have consistently worked on this issue.

Oh, if you're making up fake numbers online to your tens of thousands of followers to make Taiwan look better, go fuck yourself. Even if you were genuinely working behind the scenes on it, bragging about it online is dangerous and a sign that trust in you is misplaced
