Really disappointed by how slow Swindon Council is being on developing better cycle and pedestrian provision during the lockdown. Lots of other places have already made changes, but @SwindonCouncil have done nothing. #SwindonDeservesBetter

Here is an @swindonadver article where the Cabinet Member days that it is too early to talk about specific plans. https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/18472851.council-hopes-slice-250m-cycling-fund/
But Oxford have already announced their funded programme of works to support social distancing and cycling... https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/18478536.council-spend-230-000-social-distancing-measures-oxford/
London was doing it weeks ago... https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.standard.co.uk/news/transport/park-lane-london-new-cycle-lane-a4440446.html%3famp
As was Brighton: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.theargus.co.uk/news/18441764.amp/
So, why @CllrDavidRenard, is Swindon so slow on this? The story only went on the Adver because @jimrobbins asked the question. When can we expect our first new cycle lane?
