IK many of y'all must not have seen the actual arrest footage of George Floyd cuz it might be disturbing. I'll give a gist of it. 4 cops arrested Floyd for some forgery accusations and had cuffed him so there was so way he could resist the arrest.//TRIGGER WARNING//+

Then one of the cops, C*, made him lay flat next to the car and coolly put all his weight on his knee pressing onto Floyd's neck. Floyd begged and pleaded and groaned in pain telling that he "cant breath", but C* teasingly told him to get in the car. +

A small group of civilians had gathered around as Floyd cried "Mama" multiple times and his nose was bleeding. The onlookers protested against the cops but in vain. After a good 8 minutes Floyd stopped responding, but C* didnt lift his knee.+

The meds were called, and Floyd's pulse wasnt checked unless the meds arrived. Inspite of that C* didnt lift his knee. The med had to literally remove Floyd's neck from the beneath the knee and put his limp body on the stretcher and took him to the hospital.+

But everybody there knew that poor Floyd was gone. For me personally, watching the footage outraged me. It was hard to believe that a human would inflict death like this on another human.
