1. The PSP was a much of a terrible gaming console as the PS Vita were, like seriously besides Final Fantasy games and some obscure Atlus game ports, there was no reason to care about that piece of hardware....

2. KH2 is litteraly the only good game in the KH Franchise, not much of an unpopular opinion, but let's be frank , KH games even as a fan, are sometimes so mid, it's better to watch cutscenes compilation than to actually bother playing the games... and the plot ain't even great

3. Pokemon BW1 are the worst pokemon games, it's a terrible reboot of the franchise that could've been amazing, but was handled by litteral fucking monkeys, it took off all of the cool additions of previous game to focus on plot, and that's where Pokemon started going downhill

4. The only reason you think Crisis Core was a good addition to Final Fantasy VII's lore is because of Zack, and people won't shut the fuck up about Zack completely missing the point of the original plotwist, and most of the additions seems like out of a shitty fanfiction

5. Stop fooling yourself into thinking the Drakengard trilogy were good games, the first one, I can accept, being terrible on purpose for the sake of the experience, but what excuse does Drakengard 3 has ?

-Higurashi ending was mid
-Ange is the worst Umineko character
-F/SN is 10% good stuff 80% filler and 10% dumb chuuni wb I will never care about

9. Most open world games are legit super mid, it's insane, the only game that managed to make it relevant as a game design philosophy is Zelda BOTW, this game completely anhilated any chance of Open World being relevant again, yet people are still going, and they're still missing

10. Is it me or did we lost the art of making good sidequest ? The Witcher 3 came back to the good direction, but most other RPG's just filled their content with mediocre fetch quest, more doesn't mean better guys, thanks MMO's for introducing that trend to singleplayer stuff ig

11. if your game has "morality system" that doesn't affect fuck all the story and is just "do you wanna choose the blue bonus or the red bonus that is awesome but you have to kill a child for that" , I'm sorry to tell you to go fuck off

12. Same thing applies to game that makes you do a bad thing without giving you a choice to not do the bad thing and is like "OH DO YOU FEEL BAD FOR HAVING DONE THE BAD THINGS YOU DIDN'T HAVE THE CHOICE TO DO ? YOU'RE A BAD PERSON ? SHOULD'VE STOPPED PLAYING THE GAME YOU BOUGHT"

13. Pirating and emulating games is ok, and you should do it more often, especially emulation since it's the only good way you're going to preserve videogame as an artform

15. I have never finished a single metroid game ...

I just think the formula was done better by ... all the other metroid clones, but I mean it's normal, most of the 2D Metroids are like old and stuff, normally that doesn't bother me, but the gameplay is too floaty for my taste

16. I've played SMT III Nocturne, ngl, it was the worst RPG experience I've ever had, and while I can understand the appeal of it, it's unlikely i'll touch anything from the series ever again. And no I'm not replaying 70h of game to get the different endings

17. Just a general thing, not just for gaming, but if you don't wanna play a game because of its popularity or its fandom, you're just weak man, even if you end up disliking it, there's nothing wrong having controversial opinions, hence why i'm doing this thread lol
