“Bare fucking minimum” doesn’t mean stop sharing btw (unless it’s the original video which is extremely triggering and disrespectful to repost) — it means IN ADDITION do your research and take every single extra step you can always bc it’s not extra it’s necessary

Lastly, use your platform (yes, 1 [ONE] follower equals a platform) to amplify black voices before/instead of sharing your own take. it’s our responsibility to be allies but to also ensure that the oppressed (not white ppl/specifically in this case black) take center stage
