Hi moots! If you see #jestemLGBT on your tl please know this is a Polish hashtag ("I am LGBT"). There is Polish MP who has publicly claimed that gay couples who adopt do so in order to sex*ally har*ss children (adoption by same-sex couples is illegal here).
A court case against her was just dismissed on May 27th because the judge claimed the prosecution couldn't prove they were gay (if I understand it right it was claimed they couldn't sue on the basis of targeted harassment. If it doesn't make sense it's because it doesn't).

In February a third of the local authorities in Poland declared their municipalities "LGBT-free" zones whatever the fuck that means it means in legal terms, it's not quite clear yet but it legitimates hate speech and targeted harassment in public spaces. https://balkaninsight.com/2020/02/25/a-third-of-poland-declared-lgbt-free-zone/
