ok so i just woke up and ive seen nothing but support for the blm movement on the tl but just in case u need to hear this white people arent oppressed for being white white people cant face racism white people have white privilege white people constantly benefit from a system tha

favours them whether it’s overt or subconsciously etc. as white people its very important to be aware of how the opportunities u get are different from those of black people and to use your voice to support black people in addressing the issues they face on a daily basis

without speaking over them. and if u doubt white privilege exists i suggest u get educated and read up on the works of some black scholars or just look at incarceration rates and arrest rates and some other statistics and it will become clear enough
