Dear White friends,

Here is how to make a difference to help address police brutality against Black people:

1. Use your privilege, and your body, to protect Black people.

When you see a Black person being mistreated you have to insert yourself, using your literal body... 1/4
prorotect us. Police do not use the same force against White people as they do against Black people.

Our lives are at risk, but when you stand with us you lessen the risk. Stand with us when you see it. Do not stand idly by, do not become a bystander to bigotry or abuse... 2/4
Say it's not okay. Record it if you must, but PROTECT US FIRST!

No one deserves to be hurt. No one.

Stand with us.

2. Contact your local political representatives and tell them this is important.

Demand an accountability board to oversee grievances filed against police. 3/4
Demand tamper-proof body cams. Demand independent oversight of internal investigations.
Demand police undergo extensive training in deescalation, conflict resolution, and the history of the communities they serve.

No one deserves to be hurt. No one.

Stand with us.
