In my interactions with run-of-the-mill atheists I've often found them unaware of the solid arguments that build the edifice of theism, more so Islamic theism.

Their intellectual superiority complex lies on shaky grounds that can be dismantles with ease. (8/n)
Hamza Tzortzis' book "THE DIVINE REALITY: GOD, ISLAM & THE MIRAGE OF ATHEISM" is an invitation to get an overview of why theism is a reality.

While it is not a scholarly tome the book covers enough ground to give the reader a decent idea of the territory of Islamic theism. (9/n)
I'd recommend this to any atheist, agnostic or even theists, as a starting read.

At the least, it would make us understand each other better even if we respectfully disagree. (10/n)
Atheism entails a void - it is truly a mirage, one that may give a semblance of rationality from afar but on a closer look is an illusion and self-deception, a darkness at the end of the tunnel. (11/n)
Like the author @HATzortzis says "the conditions that facilitate the denial of the Divine are based on false assumptions about the world, incoherent arguments, pseudo-intellectual postulations that veil emotional issues and on occasion, egocentricity. (12/n)
Atheism is not based on a commitment to reason; in many ways, it is its adversary."

Oh and those saying " #science supports #atheism get high marks for enthusiasm but low marks for logic." (13/n)
Science can tell you the "how" but not the "why" of the physical world and the abstract of humanness.

Why basic laws of nature exist? Why they are the way they are?

Using science to answer such philosophical qns is akin to researching beauty/love with hammer and sickle. (14/n)
Atheism leaves one with hopelessness, internal chaos and a lack of fulfillment - all the suffering you endure ends only in death, the meaningless molecules you're reduced to have nothing to do with every instance of pain and injustice you struggled through. (15/n)
Atheists wouldn't generally admit but one reason why they reject theistic rationality & evidence is their arrogance at not wanting to worship God. They understand worship in a myopic ritualistic sense. They'd rather be enslaved to their own desires and societal pressures. (16/n)
Anyway, the reason for the thread is to recommend this book to all who are interested to be a part of the dialogue.
