I have been meaning to do a thread since long. Please read, if you can spare a minute or two.

Thread: Every girl who has travelled in local transport has a #MeToo story to tell.
It is very shocking how it is not talked enough about. Every girl, I mean it every girl, NOT MOST, EVERY, EVERY GIRL would tell you that she has had such an experience while travelling especially in a local bus.(2/n)
It happens mostly at the stage when you are young, especially in 11th 12th class while going to tuitions. Girls that young often travel together, so they can stand close to each other or so they don't have to sit with others on a seat. (3/n)
Most girls that young ,16 or 17, are not even able to confront anyone, due to various reasons that we can talk about in another thread. This leads to internal anxiety, suffocation, anger, and what not. It takes a toll on mental health and consumes you within.(4/n)
It gives me such a sense of happiness when I see young girls travelling to their tuitions on their scooties instead of taking local transport but not everyone can afford that. (5/n)
It is very shocking to see how we don't even talk about it when every girl has had such an experience. It is a gigantic understatement to say that when you face such a thing,ESPECIALLY AT A YOUNG AGE, it consumes your inner peace within.
For those who don't understand, don't even try to imagine the trauma it brings. Fin.
