my heart aches, so many people in this country are being murdered in cold blood because of the color of their skin, families are losing loved ones way too soon, this is savagery and pure evil, please end this

as someone who is not a poc, I know my privilege, I know I don’t have to live in fear of being gunned down because of the color of my skin, but I also know that if I don’t speak up and share my anger and sadness, that I am being complicit, silence says a lot #BlackLivesMatter

this is something we cannot ignore, we cannot let this become something that we become numb to seeing, I am sick to my stomach every time I see an event like this occur and I never know how to go about expressing my frustration, but I refuse to be silent anymore #BlackLivesMatter

to all of the poc that come across this thread, you do not deserve this treatment, I hear you, I see you, and I stand with you in this fight for your equality, your true equality #BlackLivesMatter
