This disputes @JeffPassan reporting that there will be an economic proposal tomorrow. It says, the players are not electing to reopen the March agreement. As I have been explaining, once covered by a CBA, or an MOU, which has same effect as a term CBA, a subject is foreclosed 1/ https://twitter.com/Max_Scherzer/status/1265842546619691010
from future bargaining, unless reopened by mutual consent of the parties. That's why management said they wouldn't send their proposal until the Union agreed to reopen. Unions said they'd only respond to a proposal and wouldn't agree to reopen. Management submitted a proposal. 2/
Union is now going to say, nope, we're good with what we have jointly agreed. There remains a duty to bargain over health and safety of employees and changes to CBA working conditions and established past practices regarding spitting, seeds, showers, etc if not in the CBA 3/
Solidarity forever! /end
