The ritual of violence is complete when the white establishment uses its police force to encircle brick & mortar buildings of capitalism & remind everyone that white property will be valued above Black ppl’s lives.

The ruling white elite escalate the violence toward this moment

The pattern is too consistent and too regular to not be a conscious ritual of white social violence. Anytime racial tensions accelerate, as was happening with discussion of the COVID response, the white power structure responds with this same public lynching ritual via police.

Corporate property is given more immediate, more certain protection from the police force than will ever be given to the person they murdered hours earlier. It makes it clear for everyone observing, and especially for the comfort of white owners, that the color line is intact.
