This is a quote that comes to mind in times like these. There is absolutely no justifiable excuse for being an ignorant, racist piece of shit. Educate yourselves !! RESPECT EXISTENCE OR EXPECT RESISTANCE !!

For those who believe racism has “improved.” Racism has not gotten better, it’s evolved & taken different forms. Covert forms being microaggressions & overt forms being hate crimes & murder.

Microassaults are overt, verbal insults & behaviors. A common example is non-black people using the n-word. Microinsults are statements to demean or insult one’s identity. An example would be using stereotypes towards black people & actively discriminating against them.

Microinvalidations are actions to exclude, negate, or nullify black identities & experiences. A common example is “All Lives Matter.” People who use that in response to BLM completely invalidate the fact that black people are targeted & murdered at disproportional rates.

So yes, we’re focusing on the importance of black lives because they are in danger. To my non-black followers, the murder of unarmed, innocent black men, women, & children should make you just as fucking angry.

Countless black lives have been taken at the hands of police. This has to stop. My head hurts from crying, my heart feels heavy, I haven’t slept. I have a deep pain in my chest every time there’s another news headline like this. When will it stop??

For those who believe the savagery these officers commit is “not part of their training.” Well then who teaches them that?? Who teaches an armed police officer to be afraid of the color of someone’s skin??

Who teaches them that the color of someone’s skin is probable cause?? Who teaches them that the color of someone’s skin should make them “fear for [their] life”??

99.9% of the time no one is resisting arrest. And still these officers think it’s ok to resort to violence?? And to take a human life?? Enough is enough. I’m sick & I’m tired.

For those who say the system is broken, it is not. The system works just as it was intended. To cater to the needs of the whites in power & perpetuate institutionalized racism. The system needs to be torn the fuck down.
