its infuriating, the treatment that goes towards black people, that they have to live in fear every day!and non-POC that deny their privilege and say "not everything has to be about race" needs to accept that everything does have to with race #BlackLivesMatters
when i was abroad i bumped into a black woman in the public restroom who felt fear because she thought someone was going to report her, for just using the washroom! i assured her nothing will happen but it's bothersome that this event probably happened a couple times already.
black people always have to be cautious & careful, but even when they dont do anything they still get persecuted! dont you see that security has turned into a privilege black people will often fight to have?? when whites protest with guns they get babied, blacks get tear gassed!
racists have weaponized their calls towards 911 against black people with the intent to have them killed/arrested! by lying and making stories up to authorities just so black people can suffer! if black people havent been recording too no one would believe them
but even with proof of racism and racist intentions- even if the racists are being held accountable and exposed for their actions, still there's those group of people that say "know the whole truth first" or "they arent racist, its just a mistake" um okay https://twitter.com/jmnlibra/status/1265830755730513920?s=21 https://twitter.com/jmnlibra/status/1265830755730513920
as a non black POC here's how you can support black lives:

- educate yourself & read up
- if you're a non black acknowledge your privilege, doesn't matter if you are a POC too, if you're non black we still have privilege
- speak up & educate people
- utilize your platform
