Im not fangirling over the series BUT istg UWMA of Studio Wabi Sabi was a masterpiece. From the bottom up to the top of their roof, all was clearly commendable and iM NOT EVEN DOUBTING A SINGLE COMPLIMENT HERE PEOPLE. just pls hear me out as to why i think uwma needs to be on top

let's begin with the cinematography;

as a fan of motion pictures, I kept on subconciously (before realizing it) judging how they plaster every scenes. I've noticed how good the screenplay was, especially the camera angles in kissing scenes.

Angles were so beautiful that I had my eyes bleeding bc my eyes were pleased. They match the atmosphere in accordance to the characters feelings at the time, they'll choose dim and gloomy places whenever the person is sad & vice versa. I feel like not most of bl series does this.

okay now lets talk about the plot;

Frankly, I'm so used of watching bl series with mainstream storyline, a straight guy come across with someone who'll make them gender-confused all throughout the series and then later becomes gay and so on and so fourth... BUT uwma was

an exception to the list. UWMA have a unique plot & the plot twists such Korn & Pharm, In & Dean, were mere kins, it made me apprehensive of what Im watching and keeps me on solving their family tree & I ENJOYED IT. Series that can make you think and lose ur shit r da best ones

I have to be honest, at first I thought reincarnation was a boring plot for a bl series. But again, uwma is always an exception. Whoever wrote this novel, hands down to you for justifying and making a reincarnation plot so beautifully made.

NOW THE CAST;

FUCK IT but let's admit that Fluke and Earth made us cry our hearts out. Don't get me wrong, all of them were great af but Earth and Fluke made me feel that their pain was real & made me agonize with them. I've watch some raw scenes & I especially liked the cut

where Earth (In) had to scream on top of his lungs just bc his lover shot himself dead. The scene was beautiful & his scream built up anxiety in me. Another perfect scene was Fluke's, when he pointed the gun @ himself, I felt so many emotions right through his eyes, I can see

;

sadness, doubtfulness, sympathy, and desperation in his eyes all at the same time. That particular scene was a rollercoaster of emotions, it made me cry and depress the whole day.

I also have to compliment the genius idea of reversible personalities of Korn and Dean and Pharm and In. I feel like Korn really loves In but he had too much worry about that he couldn't show his feelings confidently. In contrary, Dean loves Pharm without any fear.

I love how they made In the worst cooker and Pharm as Gordon Ramsay HAHAHAHA jk. I mean I love how they made In a confident gay while Pharm, all throughout the series, was always the definition of panickedt gay.

And of course, the ost;

OMFG im so inlove with every ost especially 'the luckiest boy' and 'I found you' ARGGH it adds to the emotion of the scene, the singers were so talented!!!

Ofc I have to talk about Pharm, Team, and Manaow's friendship;

Their bond was pretty cute, they look so natural especially Manaow omfg she's my giiiirl! And I'm still waiting for hemp rope everyoooone!!!

Imma say something about P'New aka the director of the century. HE'S LITERALLY MY LIFE, i wish to see him someday, I need to vent out all my compliments about him. Imagine directing LOVE SICK, MIR, LOVE BY CHANCE, & NOW UWMA so fucking beautifully, who wouldn't want to praise u?

In conclusion— the production, the casts, the scriptwriters, are great. They justified the story very well, all the messages and lessons were sent to the viewers. I want to talk about the lessons and virtues uwma delivered us in a separate thread because it's worth mentioning.
