In the past, I stated that I& #39;m going to attempt to make this account free of politics for my own mental health. Politics and social injustice make me feel distress, sorrow, and grief - especially as a queer black woman (?). Unfortunately, against all efforts, I can& #39;t avoid them.
Because I can& #39;t avoid them, I will probably end up liking, retweeting, and tweeting things related to them more from now on. I just want to make my teeny clan of followers aware so y& #39;all can mute words like "race", "racism", etc. if you wish to for any reason.
I know that these topics are hard to learn about and discuss with others, especially online. If anyone wants a non-judgmental space to learn and civilly discuss these topics, I would be happy to through dms or discord. I want to learn and discuss these topics with others as well!
I& #39;m getting into my personal life here, but I& #39;m a senior undergraduate psychology student that has studied social psychology, cross-cultural psychology, and ethnic minority psychology. I want to continue my studies and became culturally-competent therapist.
I& #39;m sharing this to prove that I& #39;m genuinely passionate about listening to people& #39;s suffering and stories and helping them cope and grow; I& #39;ve chosen to dedicate my life-long career to it! I& #39;m here for anyone and everyone with good intentionshttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đź’“" title="Beating heart" aria-label="Emoji: Beating heart">
Anyways, I hope y& #39;all are taking care of yourselves. P.S. we can talk about fandoms toohttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đź‘€" title="Eyes" aria-label="Emoji: Eyes">
