IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT ANTISEMITISM ISN'T A THING. Of course antisemitism is a thing. Of course our whiteness is conditional and revocable. But we don't get traffic-stopped like this. Cops don't kneel on our necks. That's real, too.

I think that the people that can hold "na'aseh v'nishma" and "kafa aleihem har k'gigit" at the same time can hold "there is antisemitism and it is real and present and dangerous" and also "at a glance, to state-sanctioned wielders of lethal force, we look white."
