Hey, @HealthNYGov and @NYGovCuomo, can we talk about how Early Intervention therapists and their agencies are essential workers but don't need to open up their offices or conduct face to face sessions for those who receive services?

Teletherapy is a joke, more so for smaller children such as my own and so many others! Children who learn best through real life interactions from TRAINED PROFESSIONALS. How is it that ones medical insurance can send someone out but not E.I.?

Children are essential, essential for the future but it seems like no one os doing right by them. Just today I spoke with someone high up the chain and was told that teletherapy is working great, thats when I had to interrupt and ask for who?

Because like myself I know PLENTY of other parents are struggling knowing children have regressed after achieving so much while therapists have the option to stay home and still be considered "essential workers". Can I be a first responder from home?
