Toronto Police pushes a Black woman over her balcony—multiple witnesses say while CP24 reports like this https://twitter.com/cp24/status/1265824016813694976
@CP24 can you answer as to why witnesses are saying you never arrived on scene? Did @TorontoPolice tell you not to come? Is it usual for you to do this?
And I swear to god whatever fucking bullshit excuse you make up, such as “domestic dispute” HOW THE FUCK DOES A BLACK WOMAN END UP DEAD WHILE THE COPS ARE THERE.
If folks aren’t seeming my below tweets please do, they’re the best corrections I can make and questions I can ask as @CP24 doesn’t do their job
Another question, who made the domestic incident call? Because it doesn’t say who police were responding to which leads possibility of someone else possibly making the call to police? Like what is this reporting.
Why is there a 4hr and 30 minute gap between police arriving and the public receiving any official public report? At least from what I’m seeing as I look for information.
Folks looking at the video of the mother, if your response is to say she seems suspect because she doesn’t fit your narrative of a mother mourning...that’s your misgoynoir that’s really fucking jumping out. And also the questions you have re the events @CP24 should answer by now!
Why has it been 12 hours since there first report and we don’t know from the media any names, we’ve had no updates, but all media sources are sharing the same fucking article?
Here’s a big fucking question, we’re in a pandemic when people should be and likely are home around that time? What are the neighbours saying or would have said without any TPS interaction (if there was one). This had to have been heard!
So to be clear I’m relating information from other Black folks and the fact that CP24 didn’t do this work is the fucked up part. The witness is the mother, a person who’s as called as it happened arrived on scene and had to quickly record a video saying what happened
Since TPS said they were saying it was a suicide.
