I'd really like to know what Katie Halper, Ryan Grimm, and Nathan J. Robinson think of this recent turn of events? Because, as far as I can tell, they've stayed silent. Is there no accountability for "journalists" who choose to put their subjects in the spotlight w/out vetting? https://twitter.com/natashakorecki/status/1265494148573954051
And this really is a complicated story b/c at this point, here's what any ethical person should feel:
1. glad that Reade's misconduct in criminal trials has been brought to light
2. perhaps sad that Reade herself is being dissected in public.

Personally, I feel both 1 & 2, though 1 overrides 2 (if Reade lied under oath, I'm glad that's been discovered).
Still, the activist journalists who pushed this story on us w/ no vetting of Reade or her history should have some comment, no?
