I never really know what to think on the taylor speaking up about stuff thing .... I think we all praise her WAYYY too much for doing the bare ass minimum of posting a tweet like she did about Ahmed though I’ll say that much dkskdkdkd

But like when I scroll down my TL and it’s all just calls for Taylor to say something or demanding Taylor speak up it feels like it just becomes about Taylor and not the real issue. But at the same time her word can have a HUGE impact as we all have seen before so idk

It’s complicated ... Even this thread is all just about Taylor and not the real issue. I don’t know if I believe that we should focus on celebrities’ commentary on issues because of the impact it could have or if we should just stop doing that ! I’m really not sure
