Protest tips for #Minneapolis :
1) if you’re scared to throw/break stuff, it’s fine. You can stand in the middle of the crowd, you can chant, yell, boo, whatever. Your presence there is enough
2) if you have a bike, use it to scout. Drive around main roads and look for...
-cops (duh)
-fallback areas/escape routes, so people have a place to retreat to when pressured
-undercover cops(Bluetooth headset, polo shirt, baggy trousers)
-safe places for medics to work(more important than you may think!)
-encirclements

3) Don’t try to fight the cops head on. You will lose. Harass them and disperse, or have someone quick hit them from a side street.
4) I see a lot of people out there who don’t have masks on. Big mistake. Always wear a mask and sunglasses

5) don’t be afraid to run home, but make sure no cops are tailing you

Standing in front of cops like this without any barricades to prevent direct confrontation is going to get y’all killed sooner or later. Hands should not be idle. Keep building stuff to keep your frontliners safe.

Now this is a good barricade. Fire seems a bit premature though, unless there are cops off frame to the left https://twitter.com/StribJany/status/1265852398465097729?s=19
