#BlackLivesMatter this is a fact, not an argument... unfortunately cannot get rid of cops they are necessary for society what we can do is change the demographic currently more than 80% are male and more than 75% are white... what can we do to change this? become them

what to do with the blant unfairness, racism and violence against poc?

protest helps... anger against them is valid it creates a conversation but nothing is going to change if the same type of people are the only ones who will join the force

im a criminology student took a class called police in society and there i learned that along with physical test they have to pass personality tests... test created by white men... test administered and reviewed by them... that needs to change

the type of people that become officers need to change... who better to understand and stop that than members of those groups oppressed... we need more black officers... more MINORITY officers in order for something to change we need to change the number of male white officers ..

but it doesn't need to stop there... we also need to change laws but in place to specifically target poc ... set in place to keep the white rich members on top... laws that discriminate and target mostly black men... the ENTIRE criminal justice system is a mess...

prisons are capitalism's new legalized slavery... the same laws don't apply to all citizens all of this needs to stop but we still needs laws and institutions in place to enforce them... that doesn't mean that things don't desperately need to CHANGE

male cops are the worst with dealing with cases of domestic abuse & sexual harassment/assault they simply do not have the empathy needed ... women do WE NEED MORE WOMEN ON THE FORCE

why would women be more empathetic bc most women know someone or have experienced this firsthand

we need our laws to change, we need to stop killing black men, we need to stop imprisoning our youth, we need more women on the force. we need cops to change we need LESS WHITE OFFICERS ON THE FORCE

we all need to understand what is truly at the heart of the #BlackLivesMatter movement we need justice for #GeorgeFloyd and the many more that came before him. we need to change force from within
