Fact: I am the least romantic person.

In the lead up to our first year anniversary my partner was freaking out because it was our first and he didn't know what I expected.

He needn't have panicked. I expected nothing as I'd forgotten about it and didn't even know when it was.

He knew the date because he'd saved the text message exchange where we asked each other out. I'd unceremoniously deleted it all ages ago.

Him, after acting weird the whole day: you know it's our anniversary today

Me: is it? Cool.
