Culture plays such a big role in life. When its normal for you to clutch your bag when a black man sits next to you on a bus or assume a black woman is aggressive no matter how she delivers her message or to assume criminality or entertainment/sport is how a black person got

their wealth & all other types of microaggressions. It further perpetuates a culture within society that black people are inferior and/or are bad people. When you have that established its more palatable for the wicked people in society to do wicked things to black people

Also when these wicked things happen to black people, the rest of society isn't effected by it. They don't really care. They carry on like nothing happened. The culture created has insinuated that these people aren't worth your sympathy or benevolence. They probably deserved it!

That is why what some ignorantly think is "pulling the race card" or making a "big deal out of nothing" is met by ressitance. What you are doing is further a culture that destroys lives. Emotionally, physically & economically
