A final grandmother quote - when I told her what happened she pointed out a severely wind blown tree leaning far down to the ground still standing on a rocky outcropping. She said how she found that tree so beautiful - and it was gorgeous - for having weathered so many storms.
We are all facing such incredible adversity now - some much more than others. Now is the time for all of us to dig deep and find a way to become stronger for it. Not only individually but in our communities and as a nation.
