Police Murders in the DFW Metroplex: A Thread

I will continue to post while I do my research. I will start posting some later tonight and tomorrow. Please share your friends and family members stories here or through my dms!

Please correct me if I get something wrong! Also please feel free to share your own stories or families and friends who have been attacked and harassed by different police officers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

And I’m sorry I should have said “brutality” not just murder. This thread will feature cases for those living and those that have died.

This is Darius Tarver. Tarver was killed Jan. 21, 2020 by an unknown Denton police officer. Denton PD is still concealing the identity of all the officers involved that night and these officers are most likely still roaming Denton streets.

Let’s start with one that hits close to home to me. This is Tre’shun Miller. Gunned down by Austin Williams on Jan. 11, 2019.
Tre has had a past with police brutality before his murder. In 2017 he was beaten and left at a hospital by Arlington PD. His murder still works for APD.

This is Tavis Crane. Tavis was shot multiple times by Craig Roper on Feb. 1, 2017. There was a toddler & 2 people in the car when Roper shot him in the car. The narrative of APD doesn’t match what the other 2 eye witnesses in the car are saying. Roper still works for APD.

This is Botham Jean. Botham was killed by Amber Guyger on Sept. 6, 2018 after she entered his apartment and shot him thinking he was a burglar. Guyger is currently in prison serving a 10 year sentence for murder but is trying to appeal this case.

This is Atatiana Jefferson. Atatiana was killed on Oct. 12, 2019 by Aaron Dean. Dean and another officer who did not identify themselves were walking through her backyard and shot her through her window. Dean resigned from Fort Worth PD and is currently facing a murder charge.

This is Juan May. Killed by Thedrick Andres on June 22, 2014. Andres was an off-duty officer for APD. The 2 got into a fight on a party bus. Andres went to his car & got his gun. The case was no-billed by a grand jury. Andres is now the permanent chief for Henderson PD in Nevada.

This is Jordan Edwards. Jordan was murder by Roy Oliver in Balch Springs on April 29, 2017. Jordan was a 15 year old honor student.
Oliver shot into a car full of teenagers killing Jordan. He was fired from Dallas PD. Oliver is currently serving a 15 year sentence for murder.
