I'm thinking about swords as Nuclear Weapons today.

I know people are bummed about She-Ra but it would've been cool if an actual war broke out on the show. Noelle might not like it because it ranges into hypermasculinity. People having the potential to die and . . .

. . .and the characters couldn't be kids. If they are kids than it'll still be dark as hell because war and kids dying tend to mix badly.

What would make it cool is you get world building.

Glimmer screws up and Hordak's forces take the capital. Since Mermista is sarcastic, it'd be funny seeing Glimmer's mind parroting her mother's advice. Glimmer gets mad, does stupid stuff, then finds out her Mom is right. I'd have liked to see that.
