i figured it out (partially lmao)
i cant do chores when someone (read: S/O) is around and it pisses me off cuz even when its THE ONLY THING I WANT TO DO im still physically incapable of doing anything chore-ish unless im alone
i like to listen to music, loud, when i do chores. still wouldnt be a problem around another person. i like to dance when i do chores. still shouldnt be a problem
its because when i do Adult Chores, i go /nonverbal/
the existance of another person (S/O) means the need to communicate. means converstion. and im /super incapable of doing those two things simultaneously/ holy shit
sorry this thread is a mess lmao but it just hit me while i was attempting to do things w mike in the room, that im actually comfortable as long as my headphones are full blast and i have no plans of turning them offffffff
i just got him a glass of water, i mimed it from the kitchen to him on the couch, and mouthed i love you, and im still in the headspace where i can continue doing dishes
where normally a conversation would fully pull me out and i wouldnt be able to DO anything anymore.
