THREAD: There seems to be some confusion over all the JUMP bike models - the 5.0, 5.5, and 5.8.

Since pictures tell 1,000 words...let's begin.
A. The JUMP 5.0 was the first JUMP bike released. It has a big Social Bicycles GPS unit in back, Shimano roller brake in front, and the battery is fixed in the downtube. Many were retired a long time ago and probably scrapped; none have been seen in @CrisMoffitt's pictures.
B. The JUMP 5.5 is the current JUMP model, and the victim of the scrapping efforts. The GPS has been relocated to the black box on the bars, it has a disc brake, retractable cable lock, and the battery can be swapped by JUMP staff (not users) from the left side of the bike.
C. The JUMP 5.8 is a PROTOTYPE model revealed @ the 2019 Uber Elevate conference. *These* are the bikes packed full of firmware on everything to prevent theft, but not even the JUMP engineers could get their own creation to work perfectly when beta tested in limited numbers.
D. UBER claims they're scrapping "older generation vehicles than what Lime got in the transaction." If true, Lime would be renting the JUMP 5.8, a bike that never got past beta and has no tech team to support it. Lime is renting the 5.5 in Denver.
