Some can easily accept the evil nature of supremacy as a fact of life but can’t seem to even consider that others may have had a reason to suppress someone who would’ve done something about it. Make it make sense, somebody. 2/
Are some scandals, smears and conspiracies just sexier than others? Who decides this? Groupthink? And how many times do we need to learn this lesson? How many times do we even have left to learn this lesson? 3/
And ya know, the agenda doesn’t even have to be that sinister. Could simply be that others thought their brand of power was better suited for this time, even while lacking the receipts, so they crafted a narrative based on entitlement & claimed justice as their sole struggle. 4/
When the truth is that no one does it alone. So anyone proclaiming to be the only voice or the only one who cares is not an authentic voice. We ALL want to live, survive and thrive and that is the main default of the human condition we all can lay claim to. 5/
I guess I just wonder how much longer I can willingly submit my citizenship to a nation that is actively trying to oppress & destroy me. Because it’s debilitating to know that what would offer me a slight bit of hope (i.e. equity) is offensive to others by mere suggestion. 6/
I hope we wake up. Because what we face is far more crucial and potentially final than most will even allow themselves to feel rn. More than an inflection point, this is a reset. I can only pray this reset somehow miraculously becomes a restoration, too. 7/
