not to sound like I'm reaching for something to be offended by, but like......... the "I guess some hets deserve rights" jokes are not super fun to receive, as a bisexual person

to clarify, I don't expect anyone to just randomly know that I'm bi, but I do want us to think about the potential harm & erasure we perpetrate when we assume that m/f couples are straight

This thread is starting to get a lot of replies critiquing the entire concept of joking at the expense of heterosexual people and I would like to politely request that if you want to have that conversation, you please initiate it in your own space.
