Re: Cops -- When I was 10, I had a police officer at career day and all the presenters talked about the amount of schooling and training required to do their job. When they all left, I asked the teacher, "Why do cops need less school and training than anyone else?"
It was insane to me at 10 and it is insane to me now that you need less time training and in school to be a cop than someone who does fucking hair and nails.

MOST cops start off as people who fail at what they really wanted to do, so they go get a job with benefits and a salary
which is hard to find if you are a high school or college dropout.
Then, on top of that, they are failures and they internalize that. They have to do a job every day they never wanted to do. They become bitter and take the one thing from the job that makes them feel good - power
Curing racism....aint gonna happen, sadly. But what you can do is make it hard for losers to become cops. To give losers all that power. Pay more to entice quality people, but make the bar much, much, much higher to clear.

Do that and these incidents go down significantly
