“ARE YOU SELF-CENTRED OR CHRIST CENTRED?”When you receive Christ, you become new. It is not you that lives but Christ.
But are you living out your life to reflect that?
This THREAD aims to:
Help you be more aware of Christ in you
Urge you that there is abundant fruit to have from your identity in Christ
Push you to live like Christ, and not your past self.

1. DO YOU BELIEVE WHAT THE WORD SAYS ABOUT YOU?
When you read that your sinful nature has been cut off (Colossians 2:11) and you have full dominion over sin (Romans 6:14)
Do you really believe it?
Or do you believe you can achieve it through your own works?

2. DO YOU ACT OUT WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PUT IN YOU?
Do you act out your holiness and righteousness, that was given to you because of your faith in Christ?
(Ephesians 1:1) (Romans 3:22)

Ask yourself: As a Born-again believer do you show this nature outwardly? Not to gain holiness and righteousness, or for performance, but because it is a God-given gift?
If we have the Holy Spirit, all of the fruits dwell in us, so we can reveal Christ to those who need and are curious about Him.Evangelising to people you know and don’t know without showing the character of Christ is like turning on a car with no fuel.
So remember that all things are possible with Him -Even if you feel like you cannot show a kindness or mercy to someone...
Christ can. And He lives in you.

3. REMEMBER THAT ALL YOU WERE IS DEAD.
Jesus Christ crucified the old, sinful you with your past self’s ungodly passions and desires.
So when the enemy taunts you with your past, laugh and say “That person is dead. I am alive through Christ Jesus.”

Renewing your mind by who God calls you will help you stop habitually sinning (constantly sinning the same way) Reminding yourself of who you are in Christ/ Christ-like affirmations in midst of temptation will help you. Leaning on Christ through prayer will help
