(But to be fair to Biden, early on in the legislative process, he did express worry that people could be sentenced to life for minor offenses. That worry seemed to disappear later on when the bill was being passed)

There have been hundreds, maybe thousands of studies done on this. Most (not funded by places with conflicts of interest) have come to the same conclusion. There is no evidence of permanent brain damage in adults. There are still some questions about it’s effects on the young...
But no one is suggesting making it legal for children to smoke weed, so...
