I hate when black people get mad at other black people for giving kudos to white people that speak out about police brutality/black issues in general. It may be the âbare minimumâ but at least theyâre saying SOMETHING.. APPRECIATE that donât belittle them!!
For years, black ppl have been advocating and fighting for equality and where has that gotten us? With support from other races, we might be able to initiate actual change. But when we belittle the ppl who are literally trying to help us, theyâre not going to support us anymore
I really wish yâall would stop it. For all my white friends, white people in general and other races who are speaking out about these issues and using their privilege to educate as much as you know, even if itâs basic, THANK YOU because to me that truly means A LOT!!
âchange only happens when the voices are loud and voices are only loud when there are communities of people standing together as one. ultimately shutting up white people or any other race and discouraging them for speaking on police brutality or other african american issues is
the same as not wanting the issue to be stopped in our country. the only way any real change happens is through activism, itâs through the millions and millions of people who speak up against it!â â @whosfmy
so this for example, is not what iâm talking about, she shouldnât be invited to a cookout solely because she likes black men, thatâs ridiculous. https://twitter.com/notavatarcmoney/status/1265718503853764609">https://twitter.com/notavatar...
This is what sparked my thoughts, iâve seen people say oh thatâs the bare minimum shut up blah blah...!??!? Yâall be mad when yâall white friends âdonât say anything in situations like thisâ but when someone does speak up itâs an issue?? Please do better. https://twitter.com/dzhajjomar/status/1265612624072445953">https://twitter.com/dzhajjoma...
