But I had just had a conversation with my gf over lunch about the nature of evil, and how I believe some evil is flat out evil and some evil is selfishness and neediness fueled by insecurity - and that issue isn’t addressed enough.
I was thinking more about my interactions online with people I disagree with and how I used to attack them. But today I try to be compassionate and wonder how they got to the place where they’re at, however misguided. And when I look at it that way I find my anger dissipates -
So it’s better for me - and sometimes I’m able to have a conversation with someone else that opens them up to my point-of-view. So some evil is dissipated. That’s what I was talking about.
