Look I get it a lot of ppl don't like uncritical shit framed as wholesome, I don't really either, but also, I can't even remotely see this vector and choice of target as a coincidence in an industry that aggressively prizes masculinity and a very, very narrow set of art styles

if I sound frustrated it's bc even now recruiters specifically ask for, again, realism or blizzard or get out, and it's homogenized an entire generation of artists & modelers to an extent that peeps I know who exist outside that niche basically have to be microfamous to get jobs
