the day i found out anyone, ANYWHERE can be harassed is the day my sisters and i were roaming through mecca right after fajr salah and some weirdo grabbed my sister extremely inappropriately and ran before we could see his face

i never wanted to kill someone so bad, i couldn’t even look for him if i wanted to. but with Allah is that mans punishment, what else can we do.

the way my sisters face looked as she was explaining what happened broke my heart. we were in the beloved haraam, we had a wonderful trip and it was our last day there. that’s the memory she had to leave with. الله المستعان

the issue here is not what my sister was wearing or what she was doing to “deserve” that. clearly we were in MECCA and she looked just like the other hundreds of women around us at that moment. the fact of the matter is some people are just absolutely sick.

there’s no blame upon where we were or anything my sister did. there’s just senseless people who roam this earth and they don’t care about others feelings. this could’ve happened to anyone and it will continue to happen to people until this earth ruptures

Allah is our Protector

may Allah ﷻ protect our muslim sisters and even our brothers from the evil actions of these pathetic human beings آمين
