Growing up, I was raised by my grandmother in Petersburg, Virginia. She was a powerhouse, a leader in our community. She instilled in me the values and principles I still carry.

She would say to me: “Jenn, if you have it, you have to give it.”
What she meant was: If you have a warm home, you open your door.

If you have strength and compassion, you lend it.

If you have been blessed, then be a blessing to others.

I saw my grandmother giving all she had — even when she didn’t have much to give.
We as Virginians have it, and so we must give it. We must ensure that no one in any part of our commonwealth is left out or left behind.

The public health and economic crises brought on by COVID-19 exposed what was just beneath the surface: Too many people aren’t able to thrive.
We must ensure all Virginians have quality, affordable health care.

We must ensure all Virginians have good jobs.

We must rebuild our economy so that all working families have a shot at success.
We’re in a fight for Virginia’s future.

Throughout my life, I’ve seen that “giving it” or giving back isn’t a value isolated to me or to my grandmother. It’s what we do as Virginians.

We must give ourselves, our service, and our love to our fellow Virginians.
I love our Commonwealth and I have so much more to give. And that is why I'm in the race to be the next Governor of Virginia.

If you’re ready to give it, I need you on my team. Visit my website at http://www.jennifercarrollfoy.com  to learn more about our campaign and sign up.
