A few years back we had gone on a holiday to Kerala. We were on this beach, which had a high tide, but we were unaware of it. My daughter was just about 2 years old. Now I don't know how to swim, so I maintain a safe distance from water bodies.

But my husband decided to act funny, and pulled me into the sea with him. Suddenly a huge wave came and pulled us inside. I thought I was drowning, as I was completely submerged in water and had no control over my body.

In those moments the only thought that crossed my mind, is that my daughter is sitting alone on the beach, clueless about what's happening.What will happen,to her and if she would be able to reach safe hands.We were lucky that,we survived but that incident, haunts me to this day.
