Where are all your cosplay faves right now? Are they speaking up about the tragedies that are happening to black people?

The cosplayers that claim to be allies for POCs and black people specifically. They're all awfully silent aren't they?

They all NEVER gave a sh*t.

I just want people in the cosplay community to realize how much fake advocacy happens.

Most only pretend to support black cosplayers and people in general in February/Black history month! Just to get clout and get praises from their fans and to look like a good person.
Many only speak up one month a year just to gain opportunities or look like an advocate for POCs or black people specifically.

When in reality, it's just a business move. And they could care less about actual black people suffering in the cosplay community.
If they cared, they'd show words of support to black cosplayers and people in general. As we struggle with multiple news of hate towards us. They'd show support and maybe even check up on us.

But right now, there's nothing but silence from them and hate towards us.
Threads like this that calls out the cosplay community usually don't get seen or shared. But I don't care, cause it's the TRUTH.

If this thread makes people uncomfortable, they need to look at themselves and how they play part in this issue.
All these cosplayers being quiet is saying by default that they don't care about black people being discriminated against. And us being put down like animals.

I guess we'll have to wait till February/Black history month to hear them pretend to care about black people. 🙄
