Had we a functional test at the outset and a functional government capable of protecting our nation, we would not have had 100,000 deaths at this point in time.

Now Trump’s scarved lackey wants us to believe that another 100,000 deaths are just inevitable. That way Trump is completely absolved of any responsibility for the tragedy.

But this is a complete lie. Multiple mathematical models have demonstrated that we CAN get this under control with testing, contact tracing and isolation. THAT is what should have been done from the start but was one of the many failures by the Trump administration!

If we ignore what is happening, test sporadically, so occasional social distancing when we feel like it, and some of us stay in isolation because the rest have been fed lies by Trump and cronies, then of course we will have another 100,000 deaths or more.

But Birx can’t tell us that because then it would be admitting that there ARE interventions which are highly effective and when Trump refuses to institute them, those deaths will also be on his head.

So she will pretend that all is perfect and it’s the virus which is killing people, not the failed policies of a failed administration under the “leadership” of a sociopath.
